Saint Xavier University Application Requirements
Individuals interested in applying to an undergraduate program must simply fill out an application form and turn in high school transcripts. No essay is required unless the applicant is applying to the nursing program. In addition, no recommendation letters or test scores are required.
Individuals interested in applying to a graduate program must fill out an application form, turn in college transcripts, provide test scores, and submit evaluations. Only individuals who will have earned a bachelor’s degree by the time of the program start date will be considered for a graduate program.
Tuition and Financial Aid
Undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time can expect to pay $33,000 per year unless enrolling in the nursing program. Individuals enrolling in the nursing program can expect to pay $34,250 per year.
The tuition for graduate students varies by program. The following are the tuition costs for the graduate programs:
- The Master of Applied Computer Science program costs $920 per credit hour.
- The Master of Art (M.A.) in Education program costs $575 per credit hour.
- The Master of Art in Teaching (M.A.T.) program costs $575 per credit hour.

All freshman and undergraduate applicants are automatically considered for scholarships at Saint Xavier University, and almost all admitted undergraduate students receive a merit scholarship ($1,000 to $4,000 per year) that is based on their academic achievements. Other types of scholarships available to undergraduate students are the Art and Design Portfolio Scholarship, Lifelong Learners Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, SXU Chicago Star Scholarship, and the Vernon O.
